Frank M. Bishop served as a member of the senior management that built INVESCO into one of the largest publicly traded global investment management companies. During Mr. Bishop’s tenure at INVESCO, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of both INVESCO Capital Management and INVESCO, Inc., the North American operating subsidiary of AMVESCAP, PLC, which later became INVESCO, Ltd. (NYSE: IVZ). In his role at INVESCO, Mr. Bishop served as a director to multiple INVESCO management and advisory companies, including INVESCO Realty Advisors, INVESCO Management & Research, and PRIMCO Capital Management.
Cole is an entrepreneur and business development expert. Prior to Coinsquare, Cole was VP Business development at Marketflow Payments, an international payment service where he built and managed the sales team from ground up. Before that, he was VP Sales at Jumbleberry, a digital marketing company where he managed the sales team to deliver 90% growth during the first 6 months as VP.
Mr. Les is a member of the Board of Directors of Riot Blockchain and is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee (Chairman), Audit Committee and Compensation Committee (Chairman). He graduated from U.C. Irvine in 2010 with a B.S. in Information and Computer Science. Mr. Les is an established professional poker player. Mr. Les successfully competed in high stakes heads-up games online for several years and was twice selected as the human benchmark for testing the world’s best poker artificial intelligence in what was dubbed Man vs Machine at Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Les was chosen as a director based on the fact that he has been active in the industry as a miner, studying protocol development and evaluating a variety of crypto investment strategies.
Jason Mo played poker professionally for nearly a decade where he was highly regarded as one of the best players in the game and an astute investor in the industry. After years of success in high stakes heads-up poker and cashing for more than $2 million in the live tournament scene, Mo saw the potential with Bitcoin early on and transferred his focus from poker to identifying opportunities in the emerging industry. For several years now, Jason has had a growing portfolio in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrency related businesses and is always on the forefront of the newest, most promising projects. As a result, he has established himself as one of the most respected independent investors in the cryptocurrency space.
Mr. So is a member of the Board of Directors of Riot Blockchain, and is a member of the Audit Committee (Chairman), the Nominating and Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee. He is Chief Legal and Corporate Development Officer at Mundo Inc., a private internet marketing company, and serves as a Director of Therapix Biosciences Ltd. (NASDAQ: TRPX) He is also a member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Hong Kong Canada Business Association. Mr. So has previously worked at Synergex Corporation, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, and Torys LLP. He earned his law degree at the University of Windsor and his bachelor of science at McGill University.
Mr. Kaplan is a member of the Board of Directors of Riot Blockchain and is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee, Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. He is a founder of A to B Capital Management, and manages the A to B Capital Special Situations Fund, LP, which was launched on January 1, 2009. The fund invests in the small cap sector through private, pre-public and publicly traded companies. In addition, he has been a Vice President of Barry Kaplan Associates (“BKA”) for the past 22 years, a leading financial public relations firm for both public and private companies in the United States, Canada and abroad. Prior to working at BKA, he had six years of experience working at major investment banks involved in deal structure, mergers and acquisitions and trading. Mr. Kaplan is a member of the Board of Directors of Naked Brand Group (NAKD) and Coral Gold Resources, Ltd. (CLH.V) and a former member of the Board of PolarityTE, Inc. (COOL). He holds a BSBA from the University of Hartford in Finance and Insurance.
